SpaceX has decided to make a change of plans. It will transfer its launches in Florida to a novel site after one of its rockets burst into flames last year.
SpaceX will shift its launch site to a new place that has been completed. Florida will not be the venue from which SpaceX rockets launch into the empyrean heights from now onwards.

This occurs after one of the rockets exploded last year damaging the launch pad in the process. Elon Musk has gotten serious about the whole thing. He wants a change of site and the precautionary measures must be doubled from now onwards.
The FAA sent a team of seven experts to Florida to probe into the causes of the rocket explosion. Till the probe into the cause of the explosion carries out its investigative efforts, SpaceX will have to temporarily shut down its rocket launches.
If the explosion was due to rocket glitches then SpaceX will have to make some radical changes in its fleet of spacecraft. The rocket exploded in July last year. Things were put on hold for a time span of six months. Defensive brackets were installed on Falcon 9 rockets, according to Reuters.
The extensive damage incurred by SpaceX’s Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station is even now being gauged by expert technicians.
While the damage done to the rocket and the launch pad was obvious right from the start, the full range of destruction that occurred is still to be determined by the team of experts.
If the photographs of the event are anything to go by, they show that the top portion of the launch pad which held the rocket in place simply leaned a little too close and so the explosion took place.
According to the US Air Force, the damage was probably confined to the launch complex that belonged exclusively to SpaceX. The accident was a costly one though.
It destroyed a communications satellite worth $200 million. That is a lot of money that has simply gone down the drain. Over 70 missions of Falcon 9 rockets have been put on pause status due to this calamity.
The repair work will ensue soon in order to put things right. Out of the chaos will arise a new order. However, for now, SpaceX is facing an interregnum in its activities.
A lot of changes are due since no one can afford such astronomical accidents. Safety comes first and as the boy scout’s motto has it one should always be prepared.
