Tesla CEO Elon Musk is a week late with publishing the details of the Tesla Software Update 8.
Elon Musk promised to release the details about the Tesla software update 8.0 and 8.1 on August 31. Then this happened and he postponed the publication of the firmware 8 upgrade to end of last week, forgetting probably that its Labor Day weekend. Now the holidays are over and we expect the release of the details today, Tuesday, September 6. If he waits until Wednesday, nobody will listen as Apple and Sony will take over the technology news channels of the interweb.

Update 09/09: Elon Musk announced to post the Autopilot 8.0 Update details on Friday, September 9.
Elon Musk appears to have bigger problems at his hands than writing down the new features of the upcoming Tesla software update that brings improvements of Autopilot using radar better and new user interface changes.
Bloomberg obtained an internal email that Elon Musk sent to Tesla employees on August 29. In the email Musk urges workers to cut cost and deliver every car possible. "“We will be in a far better position to convince potential investors to bet on us if the headline is not ‘Tesla Loses Money Again,’ but rather ‘Tesla Defies All Expectations and Achieves Profitability,'" Elon Musk emailed. “That would be amazing!"
Tesla is planning to raise money in the last quarter for the mass production of the Tesla Model 3. Complicating things are Musk's plans to have Tesla acquire SolarCity. The merge is right now under review of the SEC. Tesla and SolarCity shareholder could vote on the merger in October.
