Apple has registered several trademarks ahead of the iPhone 7 unveiling, including obvious names like iPhone 7 Plus and iSight Duo. What sticks out is A10 Fusion, spotted by a commenter on MacRumors. A10 is the new CPU inside the iPhone 7. A10 Fusion must be somehow related to the A10 processor.

Update: Apple announced the A10 Fusion. It is the new CPU in the iPhone 7. It has different cores that either have high performance or high efficiency, depending on the apps used.
Apple might have made a new chip level invention. It could be storage related or with graphics processing. The A10 CPU has surfaced in a Geekbench test report, clocking in at about 30% faster than the A9. Apple has full design control over the iPhone CPU. A leap in technology could mean a big advantage over the Android competition.

The iPhone 7 has leaked over the past months in the shape of components and rear shells. Apple chose to keep the design of the iPhone 6 for the iPhone 7. The rear shell design has been improved, pushing the antenna lines to the edges and making the lens setting part of the housing.
The iPhone 7 will be the first iPhone to have no 3.5mm audio jack and start at 32GB storage. It will also be the first iPhone that can be configured with 256GB storage. A dual camera option is also coming and the new iPhone 7 is expected to be IP67 waterproof.
Other features of the iPhone 7 include the faster A10 CPU (30% more power). Apple sticks to 2GB of RAM in the new iPhone 7 (3GB rumored for iPhone 7 Plus), shipping on Friday, September 16.
A leaked iPhone identifier suggests that there will be three iPhone 7 models: 4.7-inch iPhone 7, 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus and 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Pro with dual camera and smart connector. Apple is according to an analyst unveiling wireless AirPods for the iPhone 7.
