Madonna gracefully accepts the verdict of the custody battle over son Rocco to her ex Guy Ritchie.

The months long custody battle is finally over. Madonna and ex-husband Guy Ritchie were butting heads over oldest son Rocco’s custody. Before the case started, all of their children were in Madonna’s care and she has expressed herself to be a strict mother.

Still the strict mother could not avoid her schedule as an artist and often took her children along on tours to be able to find more time with them.

Her second child and oldest son Rocco was accompanying her on her Rebel Heart tour last year in November when they stopped by in U.K. Rocco stayed at his father’s Ashcombe estate. He later refused to return to New York to spend Christmas with her and the family.

Madonna and Ritchie filed a litigation over Rocco. The court judge ruled for Rocco to return to New York. A warrant was not issued however and the two adults were advised to resolve the custody battle privately later on but Judge Kaplan.

Kaplan was of the opinion that both, Madonna and Ritchie were responsible for disturbing Rocco’s psychological well-being. Ellen Sigal, a court-appointed lawyer for Rocco, was concerned for Rocco.

In a scheduled court hearing, the case was listed as ‘motion pending’. In the meanwhile, Rocco has been allowed to remain with his father in the U.K. where he has already enrolled in school.

Rocco has expressed that he feels happier and cared for at Ritchie’s household, according to DailyMail. He is not comfortable with Madonna’s touring schedules and life on the road.

Madonna has tried to reconcile with Rocco since then. Spending more time with him and younger brother David Banda. She also recently posted a picture on Instagram with David and daughter Mercy James on their first day back at school.
