Chinese Hackers Demonstrate Remotely Controlling A Tesla Model S
  • Chinese Hackers Claim they are Able to hack your Tesla Cars from 12 Miles Away

Tesla denies their cars ability to be hacked by anyone.

Well the Chinese hackers have outdone themselves again and this time in terms of controlling the cars. The Chinese hackers from Keen Security Lab in China have found a way which can make them hack a Tesla Motor S.

However there is nothing to worry about for the owners as Tesla has found the mole in the software that led to the hacking mishap and have corrected it. Though it looks like, with the cars which are more and more being controlled by software, these kind of things are bound to happen.

Most of the car models are interconnected and have their data surpassed from a specific system in every company. Any computer hacker with liable knowledge about the software can breach in the security and can then also control the cars.

Don’t worry as the Chinese hackers who are researchers from Security lab in China did not do this thing to hurt anyone. They only did the hacking as study so that they could prove that this kind of thing was bound to happen.

The team of scientists/hackers named Keen, made the car control and manipulate the Model S’s braked from 12 miles. Keen also said that they could take over the car screen of this model, which includes the touch screen that controls all the major functions of car. They could turn off or on the LED screens of the car and can also play anything that they want to in it.

Tesla on the other hand has denied this news, according to them they have made the changes that have filled the loop holes on the software that could lead on to this kind of problem. However we are still not sure that there won’t be any similar situation in the future.
