Brad Pitt has announced that he will not be attending the premiere of Terrence Malick's documentary and instead will be focusing on his family.
Brad Pitt is certainly getting his priorities straight. Terrence Malick's epic documentary about the beginning of time, Voyage of Time is nearing its premiere at the California Science Centre IMAX Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

An IMAX experiential movie about the birth of the Universe, the documentary had been narrated by Brad Pitt. The other narrator on the movie is Cate Blanchett.
Even being an integral part of the movie, Brad Pitt has announced that he will not be participating and walking the red carpet at the premiere. He said that Voyage of Time is an incredibly beautiful and unique experiential IMAX film for children and families chronicling the birth of time.
According to USAToday, he said that he was very grateful to be part of such a fascinating and educational project, but he is currently focused on his family situation and he doesn't want to distract attention away from this extraordinary film, which he encouraged everyone to see.
This is not a decision for the welfare of his family but also for the movie. Brad is currently facing a divorce filing which was put in by his wife Angelina Jolie last week. He has already been scandalized with rumours of substance and alcohol use, indiscretion and child abuse.
All these negative things will take the attention and focus of the movie away. Brad is cognizant of that perhaps. He is also worried about his family because Jolie has asked for sole custody of all their six children.
As sources are claiming, Brad will fight for the joint custody of his children. He has been one step behind from Angelina in the whole thing and he will require an iron clad case if he wants to fight for his children.
