The Yo-Kai Watch world is expanding today with the release of the new Yo-Kai Watch 2 Nintendo 3DS games.
Is Yo-kai Watch cooler than Pokemon? My 7-year-old son's definite answer is "Yes!" Yo-kai Watch has similarities with Pokemon, but has also unique aspects that make it especially attractive for younger kids. Some Yo-kai characters look very similar to Pokemon, but its the story setting that makes a big difference. Yo-kai are responsible for real world issues that kids are experiencing. Yo-kai are invisible animal spirits that are responsible for things like not able to wake up or being hungry all the time.

I prefer that my kids are into Yo-kai Watch and not want to play Pokemon Go. As no Yo-Kai game is requiring to go outside and walk around, Yo-kai is much safer to play and a lot less hassle.
