John Legend is set to perform at the Ohio theater that had been named in his honor after he contributed in its renovation.
We all know that John Legend is such a great guy. He had always been kind and giving and he certainly remembers where his roots are. So when he donated $500,000 to the Springfield North High School for the renovation of the theater, according to the Springfield News-Sun.

The school board says that John’s donation and interest encouraged them to start the project which they would not have otherwise. The renovations of the theater took $2.5 million but the project is now complete. The school, given his enthusiasm, has named the renovated hall in his honor.
John Legend Theater at the Springfield Center of Innovation: The Dome with 680-seats will open on October 9th. John Legend has been invited for the ribbon cutting ceremony of the theater and he is also set to perform for the audience that are thankful for his contribution.
The show will be attended by selected teachers, staff members, community partners and more than 100 students who have already been given wristbands for the occasion.
These attendees will directly benefit from the theater will houses several education programs, including the Greater Springfield CareerConnectED Center, where students can explore several areas including creative arts, digital media and welding.
John stepped into fatherhood earlier this year with wife Chrissy Teigen and they have been very enthusiastic about their family extending. Maybe Baby Luna has awakened the desire in her father to look to the future and help build a better future for the children in the country.
