The footage contained a scene from the movie. It was not refined but it was a rough copy according to the director. The video featured the Andy Serkis and his fellow ape actors Karin Konoval (Maurice), Terry Notary (Rocket), and Michael Adamthwaite (Luca) in action.
The video featured a scene where soldiers are navigating through a cave with green lasers pointed out and reporting to a man outside. The man asks them if they have him in view, there is firing and the sign of the apes appear.
They take down the soldiers and our protagonist Caesar takes out the soldiers before heading out of the cave to come face to face with the Colonel played by Woody Harrelson. There is a showdown between the two characters.
In extension, the four apes head out to a camp on a beach where Caesar kill a man. They proceed into the living quarters and loot the place while Maurice is smitten by a human child. Maurice ends up saving the little girl, not willing to leave her alone since Caesar had killed her father.
The teaser has made it to the internet and it is generating quite a buzz. In the teaser, we hear the voice over from Caesar as a snowy blizzard starts to make a form.
Slowly as he speaks; You must go before the fighting begins. I’m sorry. The War has begun. Until the end, the blizzard forms Caesar’s head and shoulders before blowing out to reveal the title.
