California Authorities issue permit for Wheego and Valeo to test their self-driving projects
Wheego and Valeo are not very well known motor companies. However it looks like they have done quite a job in the field of self-driving due to which they are offered to test their self-driving cars.

According to The Wall Street Journal, California State has given the permission to test one autonomous car on the roads of state. The recently approved bill that allows the autonomous cars to be driven in cities without the supervision of humans is the basis of this announcement.
Wheego and Valeo however will be testing their autonomous cars while these will be monitored by human drivers. These drivers will make sure that there is no mishap when it comes to the self-driving technology of these cars. The drivers won’t be driving these cars but will be monitoring them.
Wheego Electric Cars imports its electric car bodies from China while they install batteries and other components of these cars in U.S. Valeo is a French Automotive company which is operating in North America.
The WSJ didn’t shed any light on the fact that what kind of cars will be perusing this autonomous project. However we will surely get to see the vehicles when the project will go in for testing.
California has become the go to state for any kind of autonomous car makers. The companies are getting permits for self-driving projects that will launched soon too.
Along with Wheego and Valeo, about 17 more companies are given permit to test self-driving here. These companies include a lot of famous ones including Tesla, Honda, Ford, Baidu, Google, Nissan and General Motors.
