This is the reason that SeaBubbles, which is a new startup, has come up with a unique yet pretty practicing concept of transportation. They are going to offer Uber like cabbing services in the future, the only difference is that these cabs will run on the water instead of on the roads.
The idea revolves around the concept of revolutionized waterborne hydrofoil-equipped shuttles. These shuttles will be specially designed to offer cabbing services in water and to provide safe yet comfortable transportation.
The idea also revolves around the fact that with the increased traffic this kind of facility will surely help the people to reach at their desired places in lesser time, according to The Verge.
According to the initial data, this kind of SeaBubbles transportation system can be really successful for the cities that constantly use ferries and boats for transporting people from one place to other.
These futuristic taxi concept is given by Alain Thebault and Anders Bringdal. Thebault was a sailor and Bringdal who was a windsurfer came up with ideas and have already raised $500,000 for this project. They are sponsored by a few scientists and French government fund.
The founders of this plan are aiming to showcase a prototype of this SeaBubbles water taxi by the next year at CES. They are also hoping to introduce a dozen of shuttles by the summer 2017 in Paris in the River Seine.
According to the founders, this boat concept will be totally nature friendly as it will not produce any noise, any pollution or any hazard for water organisms. It will have the ability to go as fast as 30mph.
