A new Tesla model is heading to your way and we are hoping that it’s going to Model Y that will make its debut on Tesla's 17 October event.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced that a new product is going to be launched in October this year. He also said that the new product will make its appearance on 17th October, 2016.
There are a number of possibilities for this new Tesla model, we might be looking at a new SUV model, an X-based minibus or a Ford Transit rival.
Tesla had confirmed a few weeks ago that they are working on an all-electric line up. Thus, we think that this new announcement about a latest product might be related to the same line up that was announced earlier.
The lineup was supposed to include a Tesla Model Y, an electric cargo van, a pickup truck and a mini bus, according to AutoCar. While these vehicles might be the ones that can make an appearance in this month’s reveal, there are chances of something new to happen as well.
CEO of Tesla, Musk has stated that we must look for something “Unexpected” in the new reveal too. So there might be something totally new that is going to come forward on October 17th.
Other than that there is a chance of getting new and improved systems of battery charging in the Tesla electric cars. The road imaging technology upgrade can be unveiled as well.
We know that Tesla among many other companies is still working on the prototypes of autonomous cars. This means that the technology is not mature enough to be introduced yet. Thus there is little possibility of autonomous product reveal.
