Sarah Jessica Parker indicates in an interview that a third Sex and the City movie might not be entirely out of question
In a recent interview with Jane Pauley on CBS this Sunday, Sarah Jessica Parker talked about her life’s work and the upcoming projects she is participating in. Known for playing the iconic Manhattan girl Carrie Bradshaw, the actress reviewed her life in her family.
She admitted that she had been born in a family of eight where getting new things was pretty special. She said that she was interested in ballet at first but that all changed when she got a part in a local production.
She said that she was thrilled to be getting paid. The interview revealed that her family bet a lot on her future career in acting and traveled to New York.
She did not disappoint when she earned the part of Annie on Broadway. Her career continued throughout her childhood and teenage and continued to land the part of Bradshaw and the rest is history.
So much so that many people recognized her as the character. She then created a fashion personality for herself in which she also recently threw a fundraiser to benefit her first passion, Ballet.
She also talked about her marriage to Matthew Broderick and she had nothing but good things to say about the actor.
Talking about the third installment of the Sex and the City movie, she revealed that the project was, to quote, ‘rests in the butler’s pantry’. Contrary to the simple no that Parker was giving a few months ago for the possibility of the third movie.
This statement was a considerable improvement. Fans can rejoice that a third movie is not entirely out of question. When asked if it might be a Golden Girls revival kind of a thing to which Sarah Jessica said that these ladies are the characters that only look ahead and that is what a movie will be about.
We can hope for a 2018 release date which will mark the 20th anniversary of the show.
