The much anticipated game Super Mario Run was released last week on the iOS platform. The game received an overwhelming response. Within hours of its launch on the Apple Store it was on top of the charts all around the world.

However if you were hoping that Nintendo will release new levels to maintain the level of interest you have got it all wrong. According to WSJ, Nintendo is not planning to release additional free or paid-for content for Super Mario Run.
Despite the demand of the Mario mobile game Nintendo’s first attempt has not received all praises. The game was criticized for allowing to be downloaded for free and then a $9.99 charge being applied for playing further.
The Reviews on the App store have also been mixed with the game receiving a rating 0f 2.5/5. However it seems that the no level addition policy is going to do well for the game.
This does not mean that the end of Super Mario games, the company could release other games starring other friends of Mario.
