Electronic Arts (EA) announces that The Sims franchise is well on its way to celebrating its 100th millionth copy sold.
The Sims has become Electronic Arts top selling franchise. Additionally 4.2 million visitors play The Sims online each month.
The Sims is currently the number top selling PC title ever and the number 2 globally in sales across all video games platforms.
The games are also currently available in more than 22 languages and in every country where PC games are sold. Shop for Sims Games here.

As reported EA is already promoting the launch of The Sims 3 in 2009.
