Tag Heuer published first photos and details about their upcoming Tag Heuer Meridiist mobile phone on their site.
Last November Tag Heuer announced that the Swiss luxury watch maker partnered with ModeLabs on introducing a Tag Heuer phone. The Tag Heuer Meridiist looks likely to be ModeLabs best phone yet.
The Tag Heuer Meridiist will be hand assembled from 430 components and constructed from corrosion-resistant, watch making 316L steel.
The displays are protected by unscratchable 60.5 carats sapphire crystal.
The most prominent feature is the cool time display on the top end of the Tag Heuer cell phone. I see myself pulling the Meridiist out of my pocket and just quickly glance at the time display without having to turn the phone to look at the main display.
Tag Heuer promises 28 day power reserve and 7 hours of talktime to be possible with the Meridiist. The Tag Heuer Meridiist will be available in September in selected watch and Jewelry stores and Tag Heuer Boutiques.
You can register on this Meridiist page to be notified when the Tag Heuer phone becomes available. Pricing is still open, but it is safe to assume it will cost you a bundle.
