While we are all still waiting to finally get our hands on the new Asus Eee PC 900, there is already someone who destroyed one to show us what is inside.
Bit-Tech took the new Eee 900 apart, but did not find much new. Only that the mobile PCI-Express socket is now used by a 16GB SSD module expanding the drive space. We know already that the Eee 900 is still no Intel Atom based notebook. I assume that future generations will look quite different inside.

As reported yesterday, the Asus Eee PC 900 will ship on May 12th in the U.S. for $549.
