Netflix now has over 100,000 Movies in their movie rental offering. Their instant online offering features over 8,000 titles.
Netflix also just released good numbers for the first Quarter of 2008. Netflix ended the first quarter of 2008 with approximately 8,243,000 total subscribers, representing 21% year-over-year growth from 6,797,000 total subscribers at the end of the first quarter of 2007 and 10% sequential growth from 7,479,000 subscribers at the end of the fourth quarter of 2007.
Besides managing to find more subscribers, Netflix also made more money.
Revenue for the first quarter of 2008 was $326.2 million, representing 7 percent year-over-year growth from $305.3 million for the first quarter of 2007, and 8 percent sequential increase from $302.4 million for the fourth quarter of 2007.
