Devotech Industries announced its lightest and smallest solar charger yet with a weight of only 80g and about the size of a first generation iPod Nano. While small the charger still has enough power in its 1800mAh battery to charge a cell phone or MP3 player twice before it needs to be charged itself.

The internal battery in the charger can be topped off by solar power and can charge from the mains or USB as well. Multiple adapters are included to charge Nokia, Motorola, Blackberry, mini USB, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, PSP, digital cameras and iPod’s.

The solar panel has a 15% maximum efficiency with 5.5V/80mA of power. Output voltage is 5 to 6V and output current is 350 to 800Ma. To completely charge the internal battery takes about 12 hours with solar power or 4 from the mains or USB. The price for the charger is only £19.99.
