After the rather sudden death of SunRocket, America's number 2 VOIP provider, over 200,000 internet phone customers need to look for new service. Of course the competitors had been quick with offering special deals for SunRocket victims.
Vonage is offering a way for SunRocket customers to transition their phone number over to Vonage, and also receive the added benefit of two months free service (Rate excludes: broadband service, regulatory and activation fees and certain other charges, equipment, taxes, & shipping). Customers receive this benefit when they sign up for the U.S. Residential Premium Unlimited Plan. ViaTalk is at this time offering a contract buyout to SunRocket customers and subscribers to other VoIP companies. ViaTalk is also offering a coupon for free ground shipping of ViaTalk's phone system to assist customers looking to switch.
If you rather stick now with the big guys. Verizon offers their VoiceWing VOIP service.
