Vodafone announces that it has secured the iPhone for ten markets world-wide.
Later this year, Vodafone customers in Australia, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Greece, Italy, India, Portugal, New Zealand, South Africa, and Turkey will be able to purchase the iPhone for use on the Vodafone network.
The short statement Vodafone issued does not detail if the agreement is exclusive. Because Vodafone is not mentioning exclusivity in the announcement, it could mean that Vodafone is not the only carrier to be able to offer the iPhone in the markets mentioned above.
