The Nintendo Wii is pretty much never in stock on Amazon.com. Today on Halloween, Amazon is apparently offering the Nintendo Wii at 10am PST according to Gizmodo. They got the information from a tipster named Susie. I have not found a way to confirm this information.
If you still did not score a Wii console you better hit this page on Amazon at 10am Pacific to be sure.
The Wii console can be found throughout the nation in retail stores, but it somehow is a hard find online in at the $249 base price. The prices on the Amazon marketplace are around $390.
Update:
I just checked at 10:40am and there is no Wii console available on Amazon. Either it is sold out again or it never was in stock today.
Update 1 (11:12am PST):
Now Amazon has removed the Wii console from the catalog. Something is up.
Update 2:
The Wii was briefly available and some lucky customers got one.
