I am betting Nintendo Wii style lines will be formed for the sale that begins at 8AM way before that time. The MSRP on the HD-A2 is $299.99, so this is likely to be the best deal you will find on a HD DVD player this holiday season. The cheapest Blu-ray player I am currently aware of is the new 40Gb PS3, which comes bundled with Spider-Man 3.
The only problem I have with the Toshiba HD-A2 is that it isn’t capable of playing 1080p resolution movies. The max resolution it can display is 720p or 1080i. however, if you don’t have a full HD 1080p TV, this is the perfect thing for you.
