40GB Sony PS3 with Blu-ray Spidy ships

The new lower priced 40GB Sony PS3 console is shipping today. Sony bundles a copy of the Spider Man 3 Blu-ray movie with the new PS3.

Amazon.com sells the 40GB Sony Playstation 3 for $399.99. The Sony PS3 is still one of the cheapest ways to get Blu-ray support into your living room. There are though new Blu-ray players like the Samsung BD-P1400 that sell for the same price on Amazon.com.

You can also get the 80GB Sony PS3 bundled with MotorStorm for the new low price of $499.99. The 80GB version is still backward compatible with PS2 games.
