The new generation of Microsoft Zune players is about to ship in a couple of days (November 13th). This has triggered some nice deals on the currently available 30GB Zune players.
J & R is selling the brown (only the brown) Zune player for only $99.99. The same offer is also available via Amazon.com.
There is an even better deal on the horizon. Amazon.com is apparently going to offer the brown Zune for $89.99, which is supposed to ship November 19th.

Microsoft is going to update the firmware of the old Zune players, so you will have the same functionality that is available on the new generation of Zune players. The Zune update will be available on November 13th.
The other 30GB Zune color versions sell for $149.99.
