Canon Introduces Two New Selphy Photo Printers

Canon has introduced a pair of new compact photo printers in its Selphy line. The printers are the Selphy CP770 and the Selphy CP760. The CP770 is called the “cute” carry-it-all mobile printing solution and comes bundled in a carry basket that houses the printer and all the needed accessories like paper, ink and the power cord.

The CP770 has a 2.5-inch LCD and has an optional battery pack for completely mobile printing. The CP770 also supports IrSimple for printing from mobile phones or PDAs. The CP760 prints 4x6 photos and features a 2.5-inch TFT screen. The CP770- retails for $149.99 and the CP760 retails for $99.99.

"Canon wants to keep photography fun for the whole family by making it easier for children and adults to print out instant memories and share them with everyone," said Yuichi Ishizuka, senior vice president and general manager, Consumer Imaging Group, Canon U.S.A. "The fun design and ease of use helps make these printers the perfect gift for anyone who wants a new and convenient way to display and share their photographs."
