Mario Kart Wii outsells GTA IV on Amazon

GTA IV set world records in sales, but on Amazon's video game bestseller list, a little plumber called Mario and his kart are in the pole position.

Even the Wii Wheel accessory outsells GTA IV. The 3rd spot on the Video game bestseller list is held by GTA IV for Xbox 360 followed by GTA IV for the Sony PS3.
The reasons for this ranking could be because GTA IV is now already in its second week and the Wii install base is just way larger. Mario Kart for Wii is also in its 2nd week of sales.
