Sharp announced overall 22 new LCD TVs in Japan today including six new Sharp Aquos R series HDTVs.
The six new Sharp Aquos R LCD full HD TVs come in 65, 52 and 46 inches and two bezel colors.
Sharp uses the industry highest contrast ratio LCD panel in the Aquos R series. The maximum contrast ratio is 20,000:1. The panel itself has 3,300:1, but Sharp uses special backlight control that achieves up to 20,000:1. In a well lit room the contrast ratio is still 1,500:1 with the Aquos R series.
Other display features include 12-bit grey-scale processing, skin color correction, xvColor and 120Hz technology.
Additionally with the Sharp Aquos R TVs users can directly surf the internet.
The new Sharp Aquos R HDTVs LC-65RX5-B, LC-65RX5-T, LC-52RX5-B, LC-52RX5-T, LC-46RX5-B
