If your kids are anything like mine, they probably like game nights where the whole family plays board games. The catch is that they tend to not be able to keep up with game pieces very long. EA and Hasbro announced today a new video game that puts some of the most popular kid’s board games on the Wii and PS2.

The game is called Hasbro Family Game Night and is hosted by Mr. Potato Head and includes classic board games for the whole family. Included games are Battleship, Yahtzee, Boggle, Connect Four, Sorry! And a new game called Sorry Sliders.

The classic versions of these games are available and new play modes are offered as well. Up to four players can enjoy Yahtzee, Boggle, Sorry and Sorry Sliders with two players in Connect Four and Battleship. The game is set to launch in fall 2008.
