French site PC Impact reports that they received information from some users that they have been called by Orange with an offer to upgrade to the iPhone 2 aka 3G iPhone.
There would be two alleged 3G iPhone offers for French iPhone owners. If they trade-in their current iPhone they would have to pay only 50 Euro for the new 3G iPhone. If they buy the new 3G iPhone a discount would be given by Orange.
Orange has not officially responded to these rumors yet. We reported about rumors already that the 3G iPhone would be offered at a much lower price by carriers with subsidies.
