During CES 2008 in January iRiver already unveiled some details about the LPlayer. iRiver has now fully launched the Lplayer (L-Player) in Korea.
iRiver gave the Lplayer a very clean look and because the Lplayer features the d-click user interface, there are not many visible buttons to disturb the clean look.
The designers at iRiver really topped themselves with the very cool transparent speaker dock for the Lplayer. See a photo of it below.Features of the iRiver Lplayer include 2 inch QVGA screen, 30fps MP4 video playback at QVGA resolution, MP3, WMA, OGG, ASF and FLAC music format support, MP4, WMV9 and XVID video support, text viewer, photo viewer, FM Radio, SRS WOW HD, and USB 2.0.
The iRiver Lplayer comes in 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB storage versions.
Measurements of the small PMP are 60x43x13mm.
The iRiver LPlayer starts in Korea for 93,000 WON (~$90). iRiver promotes the launch of the Lplayer with the band Muse. See also the LPlayer product page (Korean).
