Asus showed the new Atom based Asus Eee PC 901 already at the WiMax Expo that takes place in parallel to the Computex 2008.
IDG News Service snapped up the details of the new Asus Eee 901 that we have seen already on leaked photos.
The Asus Eee PC 901 runs on a 1.6Ghz Intel Atom CPU. A WiMAX version of the Eee 901 is apparently planned, despite earlier reports.
Besides the Atom CPU, the specifications are the same as the currently available Asus Eee PC 900. There are the same XP and Linux models with 12GB SSD and 20GB SSD respectively.
