Asus is the company to beat at Computex 2008 in the low-cost mini notebook segment. GeCube for instance shows a 10.2 inch VIA based notebook at the Computex 2008 to compete with Asus.
The GeCube 10.2 inch notebook features a VIA C7-D processor running at 1.6GHz and 400MHz FSB, DDR2 533 512MB RAM, single SODIMM slot expansion with up to 1024MB, 80GB HDD, Wifi, and HD Audio.
The measurements are 275mm (Width) x 188mm (Height) x 32mm (Depth) and weight is 1.5kg. The 10.2 inch GeCube comes with gOS Linux or Windows XP.
