IBM rumored to be in Talks to buy Sun Microsystems

The WSJ reports that IBM is in talks to buy Sun Microsystems according to people familiar with the matter.
IBM is thought to pay at least $6.5 billion in cash to acquire Sun if a deal really does happen.
Theoretically there is a good fit between Sun and IBM. Both are enterprise focused companies and love the Open-Source community and hate Microsoft. If IBM were to acquire Sun it would mean the largest acquisition for the company. HP would not be happy about such a deal as IBM would gain quite a bit of strength with this deal.
More details on WSJ.
