Sony announced in Japan a new Playstation Eye camera bundle that allows you to video chat with six people at the same time.
The Playstation Eye CEJH-15001 bundle includes besides the video chat feature an interactive entertainment pack.
The multi-video chat feature challenges real video conferencing systems. The Cell CPU inside the PS3 sure has no problems rendering six video feeds at the same time.
Maybe the PS3 is also becoming the video conference system of choice for cool Silicon Valley startups.
For now Sony only announced the new Sony Playstation Eye bundle in Japan. This Sony PS3 accessory bundle will start shipping on July 24th for 5,000 Yen (~$47).
