The Dell mini was first seen last week at the Allthings D conference in the hands of Michael Dell. No details have been available about Dell's entry in the now very crowded low-cost mini notebook market.
At a Dell media briefing some more details about the 9 inch Dell mini-note have been revealed.
Apparently Dell kills the F-keys on the Dell mini to have more space for the other keys.
The hardware is still getting tweaked, but the Dell mini will have a VGA port for connecting an external monitor, 3 USB ports, and a card reader.
Dell plans to ship the Dell mini in August.
