Steve Jobs just announced the iPhone 3G.

The name is not 3G iPhone it is iPhone 3G.
One year after the introduction of the first iPhone Apple did what we all expected them to do - they announced a 3G capable iPhone - the iPhone 3G.
The iPhone 3G has GPS built-in as rumored before. Additionally battery life got improved quite a bit on the iPhone 3G. The rumored price of $199 is true. The iPhone 3G will be selling for only $199. The iPhone 3G will launch on July 11th globally.
