Today marks the launch of a pair of new video cards from NVIDIA. The first announcement to grace my inbox this morning was for the ASUS ENGTX280 carrying a MSRP of $649. The GTX 280 becomes the new NVIDIA flagship card sitting above the 9800 GX2 in performance.
The ASUS GTX 280 has 1GB of GDDR3memory and will be available to purchase starting tomorrow. The card also ships with the ASUS GamerOSD for overclocking during game play allowing users to get more performance from the card when it is needed the most.
The card also includes a new version of SmartDoctor that allows users to overclock the shader clock on the GPU along with the engine clock for the card. Check back later today for our own review of the XFX GTX 280 video card.

Music Midtown 2014 Blasts Through Piedmont Park
Music Midtown's one of Atlanta's biggest concerts and festivals and this year the stars came in droves. Eminem headlined while Jack White, John Mayer, Iggy Azalea, and Lorde all made their mark.
The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
