Looks like Europeans (including me) have really been waiting for the iPhone 3G. Telefonica SA said that they already received 300,000 pre-registrations for the iPhone 3G in the UK and Spain.
It is not quite clear yet of course how many of these pre-registrations will convert into sales.
The number is definitely impressive comparing it to the numbers we saw in the early days of the first iPhone launch, which were around 10,000.
