Girl Gamers Get Guitar Controllers from Aly & AJ

Despite the fact that I have never heard of Aly & AJ it seems they are a popular pop group with tweens. The group and PDP, a maker of video game controllers for all consoles, have teamed up to offer girl gamers a pair of guitar controllers.

The guitar controllers are for use with Guitar Hero and will be available starting in September. At this time there isn’t even a picture of the controllers, but they are said to be boldly colored and have vibrant designs. Each of the guitars is wireless and will retail for $69.99.

"Aly & AJ were an obvious choice for us," said John Moore, Vice President of Marketing for PDP. "They are multi-talented artists who write their own music and are proficient musicians playing guitar, piano and percussion. They are also gamers themselves, and have been instrumental in the design process."
