Buy sony ps3 from Amazon Prime Day, Amazon Cyber Monday and Black Friday Now

Movie downloads are going to be a big business and are seen as the replacement to physical movie purchases by many users. As consumers have warmed to the thought of buying digital music rather than physical albums many see movies going the same way.

To prepare for this eventuality many companies are offering digital films for purchase already, the largest of the companies is Apple with its iTunes service. According to Eurogamer Sony is set to launch a movie download service via the PS3 in the US this summer.

The service will migrate to the UK at a later date. Details on the service are slim, but it will be announced officially at Sony’s E3 conference on July 15th. It would be great if Sony would offer streaming rentals on the day the DVDs are released. I’d like to drop the Apple TV and its constant inability to connect to the iTunes store from my entertainment center.
