Aerosmith is Set to Launch Guitar Hero: Aerosmith in Times Square Friday

Activision announced that Aerosmith will be on hand to launch the new Guitar Hero: Aerosmith video game this Friday in Times Square in NYC. All members of the band will be on hand for the unveil and fans are invited.

A press conference will be held and after the launch in Times Square the Hard Rock Café will be turned into a Best Buy home theater/video game lounge. In the lounge gamers will be the first to play the new game before it goes on sale on June 29th.

The events start at 2:30 on Friday, the Aerosmith conference starts at 4:00 and the launch party starts at 4:30. It’s not clear from the information available if the Hard Rock Café party is by invite only or if it is open to the public.
