France Telecom drops offer for TeliaSonera.
France Telecom made a preliminary offer of 33 billion Euros for Swedish carrier TeliaSonera earlier this month.
TeliaSonera's board concludes that the offer is way to low.“TeliaSonera is a strong business with excellent growth prospects in its own right. The Board and management are focused on developing the company to its full potential, driving strong and sustainable earnings growth and maximizing value for all shareholders,” says Tom von Weymarn Chairman of the Board of TeliaSonera.
Teliasonera will bring the iPhone 3G to Sweden.
