The Medion akoya mini (aka MSI Wind) is starting to sell at Aldi in two days on July 3rd, but one German guy got one early.
Apparently through "social hacking" (a technique made famous by Kevin Mitnick) he got an Aldi store to hand an akoya mini out before the official sales start.
See the akoya mini unboxing photos on MSI Wind (German).
The akoya mini ships with bag, batteries and power adapter. Measurements are 260x180x19/31.5mm and the weight is 1.2kg incl. battery.
Medion ships WordPerfect Office X3, Bullguard security software, WISO Mein Geld 2008, and Symantec Recovery with the akoya mini.
Aldi will sell the akoya mini for 399 Euro (~$619) starting July 3rd.
More details about the Medion akoya mini.
