In the last two days information about new Asus Eee PC 904 and Eee PC 905 appeared. These new Asus Eee netbooks would feature an 8.9 inch screen in the measurements of a 10 inch Asus Eee 1000 to offer a larger keyboard.
If Asus is able to release the Asus Eee 904 and 905 at an $399 price point then these models make sense. If not, why would I not go for a 10 inch screen netbook, like the MSI Wind U100, that sells for $499.
MSI has already shown a similar concept to the Asus Eee PC 904 and 905 at the Computex 2008. The MSI Wind U90 features a 8.9 inch screen instead of the 10.2 inch of the U100. Now if MSI can sell the U100 for $499 then a U90 should not cost more than $399.
