This is iWeek - The iPhone 3G will go on sale this coming Friday in lots of markets world-wide. T-Mobile just announced today that the iPhone 3G will be available in 1,800 retail locations throughout Germany on July 11th.
Besides the 600 Telekom shops, The Phonehouse, Euronics/Medimax, Gravis, and debitel Group together with the Media Saturn Holding and their dug shops will offer the iPhone 3G for German customers starting at 1 Euro.
The iPhone 3G will be offered only in combination with a 2 year contract. The 1 Euro price only applies for the two most expensive monthly plans.
