Apple Store is down

The Apple Store is down for maintenance across the world. This is unusually early in my experience. It is now 10:30pm PCT.

Update:
Apple Store is back online

Of course this is exciting just days before the iPhone 3G launch. On the other hand the iPhone 3G will only be sold in stores in the U.S., but maybe Apple has other new products ready to go on sale.
The iPhone 3G launches on Friday. It is a bit early for Apple to have to take down the store for that launch. MobileMe launches on July 9th, but the store has already offered MobileMe for a couple of weeks.
