The Intel Atom based Asus Eee PC 901 finally started to ship in the United States. NewEgg offers the Asus Eee PC 901 for $599.99 with Windows XP.
The Asus Eee PC 901 is available in Galaxy Black and Pearl White. The Windows XP model features 1GB of RAM and a 12GB SSD.

Amazon.com also offers the Asus Eee 901 but does not specify a shipping date yet.
