PS3 Firmware 2.41 will be released shortly

The official Sony Playstation Blog reports that the PS3 firmware 2.41 for the PS3 will be available shortly.

The firmware 2.41 is the replacement for the flawed firmware 2.40 that Sony had to take down last week.
Sony says that for some users firmware 2.40 did not show the XMB anymore after they deployed the system update.
Yesterday we reported that Sony would release the firmware 2.41 by mid-week. It might be already coming today.
