The E3 2008 Media and Business Summit kicks off today with the press-conference of Microsoft starting at 10:30am PCT.
Nintendo and Sony hold their E3 2008 press-conferences tomorrow. What I like about E3 is that the press-conferences are streamed live on several sites including E3Expo.
The E3 2008 marks the second year of the small, invitation based and booth babes free E3. The LA Times has an interesting article on the state of the E3 and the organization behind it. Activision Blizzard Inc. pulled out of both the show and the ESA along with LucasArts and Id Software that also left ESA.
The departure of Activision Blizzard Inc. hurts ESA as it is the number 2 video game maker.
In past years we have been attending E3, this year we will pass as for us 90% of the interesting news will happen in the Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo press-conferences.
Microsoft already announced on Sunday a new 60GB Xbox 360 and lower pricing for the 20GB Xbox 360, leaving room for more exciting announcements today. The exciting news could include a motion controller and possibly an answer to Blu-ray.
This really isn't so much as news as the announcement of non-news on the part of Rockstar, who are cautioning fans not to expect too much new info about the next game—at least for the next couple of months as they presumably plug away at the upcoming fak ...
